So i'm watching the chinese news..and they interviewed this man who claims to have improved on his grandfathers engine design from 40 years ago..

he claims it does 0-60 in 3seconds
and can do 110mpg....now this can be total bullshit as he refuses to let pop his hood since he had patents pending....

but i'm thinking to my self here...if this was possible wouldnt manufactures have figured this out by now?...i mean this sounds liek a super-engine

discuss...if this was fake...just shows you how unreliable/filtered our (edit: chinese) news system is ^_^

edit again: actually i just googled 110mpg..and seems like this has been talked about on alot of other forums and blogs
    eg. click
    anyways...i say bullshit

    Re: 110Mpg? wtf

    anything can happen
rumor says a couple decades ago somewhere in the middle east a guy invented an engine that runs straight from water (just pump water into the tank) and then the guy disapeared from the face of the planet
and then another thing...the first rotary engines made were said flawless and then mazda got it and i guess they did something to market it and make money off of it...and they turned out they way they are now lol ...helicopters use rotary engines i really dont see them choppers dying and flooding and all that...

so my saying is ...IF its true i hope the guy lives lol

Recall seeing that on Discovery. Genepax is the company in Japan that claims that they have found a way to make a car run on water. They claim that they have a membrane that can separate the hydrogen and oxygen from water which can then be used to power the vehicle. Well like anything else, that membrane probably needs to be replaced on a regular basis so it's not quite "free energy".

Water is and always will be a waste product.

That's because the rotary was an Audi innovation and later sold to Mazda.

Well, NSU to be exact but that later evolved to be Audi after VW bought NSU and put them together with Auto Union, or something like that (never was good as history).

That's nothing. I knew this guy... let's call him Marty, he had this car that could run on garbage. When the car really got going it ran purely on a flux-capacitor and lightening. Cool car, ran cheaply, but buddy had some mother issues?? Something about making out with her. anyways, not sure what happend to him.

The vehicles I was talking about the other day are Opels--At least the europeans are able to design a high performance high MPG car that looks good...

    Article here - http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z6147/default.aspx
    film - http://www.flixxy.com/fuel-economy-performance-car.htm

I know they built the engines and tested them already, so who knows. Good power and good mileage. Ill take that

A few good articles I found
