Does anyone have any info on 3.0 tb's. I tried searching, but the forum freaks out when i search numbers. anyway, is there a write up somewhere? where do you guys get kits? is it still manageable to diy the v6? I'm looking into one with 91k on the clock, so i'm sure its due. what am i getting myself into?

if there is a thread covering this, shoot me in the right direction. thanks guys!

most of it is very similiar in the how-to on the 1.8 as far as removing the front carrier to gain access, there is some special tools on the v6 that really make it a snap to do the job right the 1st time, http://www.blauparts.com would be good candidate to go look at, they rent out the special v6 tools with purchase of a timing belt kit.

Here's what I found. It seems that the 3.0 and 1.8t are very similar when It come to the timing belt.

And btw you might want to send a PM to AudiA4 20T, he does some work for very cheap and is extremly close to you.
