Best Luau on Oahu??

Visiting in a few weeks with some friends and we want to checkout a nice Luau. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

There is a couple different ones but Paradise Cove is the best. I live a couple blocks from there and have gone on numerous occaisions.

there's also germaines luau and one in the Polynesian Cultural Center

Polynesian Cultural Center has a great Luau but its a long drive. If you are going to do the PCC you should really spend the entire day there. They have a lot of good information and activities for you to do and you actually learn a lot about all the different cultures of the islands. When I went I was there by 10am and didn't leave til after the dinner show was over. It was a great experience but if you are just looking for a Luau then Paradise Cove is the one.

I don't think it really matters tourists are always here so they are always putting on a good show. Its pretty much up to you as to whether or not you want to spend a friday or saturday night at a luau as opposed to being in town.

That's a good point. Maybe we will push it off to Sunday or Monday then.
