    Re: Fuel pump what tools

just a few basic tools... its mainly a bunch of plastic stuff that clips in/out... real pain in the ass especially if your tank is full but just look at your new pump and see how it works and you should be able to figure it out...

be sure to get a new gasket too!

its not required but its the black gasket where the cover goes on. if it leaked on you, you would kick yourself in the a$$

Okay. I'll pick one up tomorrow anyway (I was just there today ). Can't hurt and I'd rather it not leak when I put it back together. Thanks

Leave the stock fuel pump in for now. Go fire up the motor for the first time. Run low timing advance and boost (WG) and break the piston rings in. 30miles of 2kpm-5kpm-engine decel --- repeat. Change oil. Then go get the gasket and put the upgraded fuel pump in. You won't need the new fuel pump for piston ring break-in.

Then again, you know what to do. You've done this stuff before.

i know i won't NEED it for break in -- but technically i've got a FUCKTON of things on my car right now that i don't need... so im gonna stick to that trend.

i appreciate the vote of confidence hahaha, i hoping that things are relatively smooth from here on out with only minor hiccups. (yeah right lol)
