Washer Fluid Reservoir Question (with pics)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I took my windshield washer reservoir out a while ago, but I'm going to need to put it back in and forget how. Here is the lower part of the reservoir:

I can't remember what goes into the opening on the right, but I assume its this:

The hose coming out goes to the headlight washers.
    Is this correct?
And, if I no longer have headlight washers, can I just plug the hole in the reservoir and call it a day?

My other question is where does the hose coming out of the black pump that is still attached to the reservoir go?
I assume it goes to the windshield sprayers but how do I route it up there and attach it?

    TIA

that is correct. I took out my headlight washers because I saw no need for them. You can plug that hole and call it a day

Cool, that part is easy. What did you use to plug the hole with?

How bout where to connect the pump (I assume its a pump) for the windshield sprayer?

What I would do is get some epoxy and a bolt that will fit snug and put it in the hole and put expoxy around it. As for reconnecting it you should look under and see two connectors prob is that you need to figure out which one is for the windshield wipers themselves and for the headlight washers. To do this plug it in and test the washers. If they do not go off its the other connector.

As for the hose look up where the windshield washers are and follow the hose back down to the spot. I never fully took out the res but that is the most logical thing to do is.
