    Cool AchTuning - Great Guys

Purchased a 2001 S4 awhile back and was having issues with the diverter valves. Thought the Driver's side turbo was about to meet it's maker with low dentist drill noise and more of a supercharged noise. Pulled off the driver's side diverter to find the seal was sticking out in plain sight, and found a bit of oil in the F-pipe and the DV. Called Audi and they wanted $78 for the 710N in Des Moines and only had one in stock. I ordered 2 710n's from Achtuning @47.95 (orig $49.95) with a APR snub mount for $33. Both DV's had free shipping but they wanted $8.64 for the snub mount. I jokingly put "No Free Shipping on the Snub Mount?". Got a call from Scott at AchTuning this morning and he told me he would throw in the AchTuning snub mount for $29.95 in the box and free shipping on all parts. Nice guy and quite realistic, it's the simple things that make customers come back in this day and age. Just thought I would promote the experience.

Its not hard to make a costumer come back, you just have to treat them well. If I need anything I'll order from them.

I got a great price on my K04s. I ordered them from Achtuning, and I will keep ordering parts from them for as long as I own this Audi.

Matter of fact, yesterday I ordered CC bulbs, and they're already in transit!!

Thumbs up guys, keep up the good work.

My experience was actually negative. I made a call to them to inquire about a solution for lowering my 2009 Audi A4 3/4" and was sold a product that did not do this (much more significant lowering). The first delivery I received was missing parts within the suspension kit (rear springs) which they eventually “over nighted” directly to the shop where my car was apart. After speaking directly to the manufacturer I have strong suspicions that they sent me the wrong parts (no way of verifying so it is solely a suspicion). I was finally able to get my money back for the product (which apparently is not standard since they usually charge a 20% restocking fee and won't refund shipping) but still incurred significant labor cost (based on their wrong technical advice). They put the blame on the manufacturer which I found to be very unprofessional for a sales organization. My request was for an additional refund to cover part of the labor cost which I thought was fair considering I was sold the wrong product for my needs. The owner was not accommodating and in fact abrasive and kept putting the blame on me and the manufacturer. Bad business in my opinion considering I will probably end up spending another $5K in relevant products in the next few weeks (just not with them). If you choose to do business with them, do not rely on their technical expertise and make sure to do research on your own before purchasing anything. I work for a sales organization as well and we stand behind both our products and technical advice and have compensated customers in past for cost incurred due to our inaccurate recommendations (everyone makes mistakes; it is the ability to admit and fix it which in my opinion defines you). That’s my two cents….
