    Handheld Tuners?

Coming from a 300c SRT8 as my last car, we had the ability to purchase a hand-held tuner from DiabloSport to reflash the ECU, and make modifications as well to many features of the car without having to buy separate flashes. Is there anything like this for the A4?

Yeah, i think it was from europe somewhere. Now if APR/Revo/GIAC did it, then I would definitely buy.

Closest thing in the states is revo with the select controller. The revo dealer still has to flash you the first time but the controller lets you run pre-selected modes or allows you to tune your own fuel, boost, and timing levels.

Does this work for U.S cars? This is pretty much what I was looking for, but I believe the DiabloSport had a lot more functionality and was also under 400 dollars. Pretty much the same concept of these flashes, but much more control to the user.

Your probably better contacting them direct. But since the first step is to upload your stock program to the unit, then send it to Bluefin to be upgraded you would expect so.

I know what you mean about the functionality, my last car was the Australian equivalent of a late model Pontiac GTO. HP tuners and a laptop there wasn't too much you couldn't fiddle with in the PCM (ECU)

Yeah I've never been a fan of the piggy back style. Why go to the trouble of tricking the ECU to do something when you can have the ECU rewritten to perform how you want. It sort of seems like the really expensive version of the good old eBay performance chip..
