LED Citylight users, where do you buy bulbs?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I bought my first set of bulbs from UltraLEDs and I should have stocked up because they died after about 6-8 months. I bought replacements from SuperBrightLEDs and they died in an hour of use. Actually one turns on when I first turn my lights on then turns off lol, piece of trash.

So my question to you is where do you find your bulbs that last at least a few months? I prefer the wide angle bulbs too.

I stopped carrying the LEDs after UlteaLEDs stopped making the wide angle version of the bulb which i found was the best LED bulb I could find.

They have replaced it with some other bulb which I don't like as much and when they come out with a better solution that I have suggested I'll start stocking bulbs again.

I'm using Winston's LED Citylight regulators now, my problem is the bulb not so much getting them to stay on

I saw that bulb over the weekend and I was going to order it. Do you have a picture of the what it looks like installed by chance? I really need an LED bulb in there before Waterfest

Skip on that bulb as I tested them out and they get too hot.

I am trying to talk them into making this bulb but in white:

9 LEDs that go all the way around the bulb... I Like!!! BAX9 base though, right? I think filing the nub on my superbright leds bulb down may have something to do with they they died so fast.

Re: LED Citylight users, where do you buy bulbs?

Filing the nub down does nothing to do with bulb life. The pin is there just to lock it in place into the socket.

Don't know why you had such problems with your bulbs as I'm still running the first pair of wide angle bulbs I ever tested.

Hmm, maybe I'll check my connections and see if everything is ok
