    anyone buy from here before?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm trying to get some BKR7E plugs for my car (01 Audi, K04).
I know they should be gapped at .028.
This place sells them pre-gapped for .024.
Just wondering if anyone's done business with them or have used a .024 gap.

called pep boys, they didnt have it it stock and the guy said he couldnt order them for some reason.
i just dont want to have to buy these things online and pay 9bucks in shipping for something that costs less than that for all four.
gonna try calling advanced auto and whatnot now.

Re: anyone buy from here before?

finally found it at advanced auto, they actually had it in stock.
funny thing was the guy i spoke to on the phone found it easily enough but when i got there the other guy had no idea how to find it in the stock room.
if you guys ever need to know, the cross ref number or whatever is 6097.
they seem to have issues with looking for the BKR7E designation.
first time using these plugs, hoping they'll solve my random misfire issue.
they were cheap and seemingly hard to find so i bought 8.

yeah, i know you can gap plugs to whatever you want.
i just never heard of anyone using a .024 gap on the 1.8 and was wondering if anyone had tried it or knew why you would.

my BKR6E's are gapped at .020.

i had them at .024 and i was getting misfires. that was with a N75 issue causing boost surge though, so i may see if the next set will run smooth at .024 again.
