cause it's some pretty unreal shit hahaha.
here's the pictures as promised... out best guess is that for some reason the rod literally twisted and began to bend... then finally snapped the wristpin right out the bottom of the piston - which is shattered (at least the bottom half is) from there a large section of the rod (the entire middle part) went flying through the block/gouged out a good part of it, and the rest is history..
here's the bottom of the piston...

pieces of the rod and the wristpin (and the piston again)... pin was totally undamaged, rod was missing a good 4 inch chunk. the only parts that made it were the very top and very bottom haha
the bottom piece still attached to the (THANK GOD) unscathed crank
top of the piston (cyl wall is pretty bad too... not as bad as this though)
and a nice hole in my oil pan
