    summer body work

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Here are some projects i have been slowly working on over the summer.

yesterday i swapped the rebar over from my a4 bumper the the s4 bumper, fix a bunch of pits, and sanded... and sanded... and sanded.
today i finally laid the final coat of primer and finished wet sanding them at about 9:45 tonight.

still waiting to get my welder setup so i can finish the bodywork for a while and move on the the engine...

    Thats it for now...

    Re: summer body work

Wow. I hope you stripped the paint off the bumper. I count five to six layers of paint. The paint was getting too thick. Time to strip it and start over. Looks good either way.

Don't sweat it - the bumper looks great. The molded rear bumper really looks great in person.

i havent yet, i just need to go out to my Local welding supply and pick up my bottle for my welder. their are only 4 holes on the doors that need to be welded, and the holes on the fenders, other then that i just ground the pins down then hit it with a hand grinder.

i used kitty hair to mold the lip, washer holes and filler plate

Why did you switch the s4 bar to the a4 bar? My s4 bumper with s4 bar just bolted straight up.
