I was driving down HW 101 today. Sunset came, I saw this hill with a road, drove it, snapped...enjoy =)

No, Flik Lex's. Grabbed em for $99 a pop when they were still making em! Great wheel in my opinion. Just wish I spent the extra cash and grabbed 18's...Unfortuantely they are discontinued now, so if one gets bent, new shoes for me =X // =)

Well I was on a three hour drive by myself, so I had sometime to perfect the shot. I'm not sure what kind of camera you have (I have a Canon Rebel XT, the larger body ones)...

The pic at night was:
ISO: 400
Shutter Speed: 1/6
F-Stop: f/3.5

The pic during the day:
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/8
F-Stop: f/22.0

So I tried alot of different approaches to making the road blur enough and not enough shake in the car. It took alot of shots cause 101 isn't the smoothest road ever...But what I found working the best was I actually put the camera on my shoulder, put it on a 10 second timer, and just held it with both hands (knee steering FTW!) haha...it worked out most of time time, only downfall is your shooting blind..

Hope this helps at all, I'm not sure how advanced at photography you are..maybe someone else can give some insight?
