Finally decided to do the CC mod. Easy as hell but time consuming. I didnt want an scratches.





Will post more pics with them on the car but it was too dark when I finished.

This penis like device is my boost leak tester. I found this....





in my engine and it was not attached to anything on either ends. I looked for an hour to find where it belonged, hence the penis pump. Tomorrow I will use it to see if I have a boost leak.




I am also painting the interior. The doors will have a two tone theme with cream pictured above and blue suede (soon to be done).

These two colors but on the doors.

A bunch of little things going on. I will post more pics of the progress.

This is where that vaccum hose came from. Underneath the FPR. If anyone could guide me into the right direction I would appreciate it.

Cool, apprecite it greatly. This is the best I can do. I will do the boost leak test tomorrow and see if I can find it.

No oil in it whatsoever.

EDIT: Not on the inside but the outside was caked on with oil.

I used 200 grit sand paper sanded it down then I used 800 grit and smoothed everything out. Then I did 4-5 coats of the paint. I will post pics tomorrow of how it looks in the car too.

there is a vac hose that runs by the firewall past the combi valve and to a silver thing. its all against the fire wall... let me go take some pics....

This is right in front of the firewall by the windshield closer to the passanger


Then it comes to the drivers side still along the firewall


Then it comes in under the manafold and starts to loop around


It makes a 180 degree turn back toward the firewall and attaches


I hope this helps and that its the right hose... let me know cause i just redid all my vac hoses last week

Yes will do. I am getting my rear wheel bearings replaced tomorrow so after a nice car wash I will take some fresh pic of all my little mods. I have to do all my modding during the summer because I do no have time during college.

OK have bunch more pics from today. People requested some pics yesterday and I got them. So here they are.

The interior: (It is not completed yet hence why nothing ties in yet. I will suede the doors blue as well to have it match more and then I will do custom suede inserts in the seats as well a little later on. ) The sun makes the parts loo whie but in person they are more of a cream color.

Now here is the important one. I found a nipple on the firewall where the hose went to. I was looking on the wrong side of the engine bay. I found that nipple but could not find where it lead to.

and this is where it was located on the firewall on the passenger side.




So is that part of the PVC system?

Yup, its a ATW.
I sanded down the surround really well with 200 grit followed by 800 grit. Then I used Plasti Dip and sprayed 5 layers on. I washed the car couple days later and scrubbed the grill with a sponge and no paint peeled. I did not use adhesion promoter but probably should have. No worries, if it peels then I will redo it.

That is a screw on the fire wall. lol. By the way it looks like you still have vac line coming from your EGR valve. You have a panel bolted under your intake manifold that I would check. There is about 6 vac ports going to it. They are your n249 valves. You can bypass these if you wanted to.

Do you see that goldish bronze looking disc shaped thing at the back of your valve cover? It is right under that hard line 90 bend to the left. You can see a braided vacume line coming from it. Follow it to make sure it is all there. It will lead to one of those N249 valves I was telling you about under your intake manifold.

ok i guess i do...but they are only screws. they are not open on the end. I also have one to the right of the battery by my fender higher up that you can get a better view of. and i looked on the vacuum diagram on the hood and it doesnt ahve anything going to them

I was not able to find any loose connection. I did find one thing but I do not think that is it.

That is just a breather port. I might have time today to look around in the back of mine. It could have been left by the previous owner when they changed a line. If you had a vacume leak you would notice it on a boost guage or from how the car is responding to throttle.

Ok so today I did a boost leak test and I did not see any leaks whatsoever. I did it 3 times to make sure I guess its just like solowb5 said above. Thanks for all the help guys. Your hints were useful and help me out a bunch.

did you use a dremel to do those lights i try using a drill on mine but i can never seem to get it free

^ I used a drill at a low speed with 5/64 drill bit. You just have to be patient and take your time. Thats it.
