Just wanted to share my poor mans tint.
Stopped by my local tint shop and they said that it would run me 1350$ to tint my avant!!!
So I started looking around and decided to try the custom made Sonniboy...

This are custom made sun shades made for our cars...I had to have som sunprotection for my little boy in the back so I ordered a set. Total 450$.
It looks ok. Not as good as a full tint, but at this time I had to cut down on my expenses.

on a side note u should have somebody here in the US ship tint to u n then put it on. Would be sooo much cheaper.

ah. just looked it up. If your 1350$ was in Norwegian Krones, that'd be equivalent to $265 USD. If 1350 was already converted to USD, then DAAAAAYAAAAMmmmm hahaha

For some reason tint in Europe is expensive! I paid 2,00 EUR for mine with lifetime guarantee when I was there, lot of good it'll do me here

i hope it was the euro and not the US dollar. i paid $150 for mine all but the windsheild too. I got a deal cuz i knew the guy. but it usually is around $200

Costs about $200 USD for a quality job on a coupe, or $250-300 USD on a sedan depending on how the smaller windows are over here

There are barely any good tint shops around here in WI, and I've been quoted at over about $400 to do my 2 door VW Golf before... But the GOOD shops here know not to charge something ridiculous to keep business.

Hehe I know! The price is insane! The tint it self is not that expensive, but the work hour on the avant kills it. :(
Well well the Sonniboy(Gay name!) will have to do for now.
Maybe I'll drive to USA and get shit load done on my car than drive home again and still save money........
And the prices on cars!! 6months ago I bought my 2005 1.8TQ B7 and paid 62500$ for it. Norwegian taxes rule!!

Yes there are a couple of tracks, with Serres Racing Circuit being the best...Ok, not compared to Laguna Seca, but still its good..

As for the engine, I did have the option getting the 2.0T and I said NO, I wanted the 1.8T which I know I can go to 400whp when I have the money...I did not regret doing it... :)
I love this engine... :)
