Dont think you will see much difference between revo, apr... on k04.
You get about 240-250hp from ~3000-5500 rpm.

I am not really looking for an improvement in HP, more than I am looking for roughly the same HP as GIAC, but I dont want to always have to worry about whats going to set off my CEL, like a HFC/TP

If that's really your biggest concern you'll go with Unitronic. They can do big turbo tunes starting from 380cc and 415cc injectors and up.

"Eurotuner" mag says it's the best chip software they've used. It's also one of the only chips that doesn't disable any of the factory sensors to get it to work... so no MIL (aka... CEL) for the TP/cat-delete. Undetectable by scan tools, and even better a 30-day money back guarantee.

Check it out, you've got nothing to lose!

pick which ever software company is closest to where you live/work incase you need any help down the road. GIAC, MTM & APR have specific programs for the K04 that have been run a ton by many of us. With that being said my APR K04 software has been flawless. It might be a tad more conservative than the GIAC, but after running it at altitude in CO and here at sea level i have yet to have a hickup. The boost is very smooth and progressive. No fast peak and fall off like the K03. Must easier to modulate the boost on the K04 software than the K03 was.

I ran it hard this weekend at the track for five 25 minute road course sessions and it never let me down. The track didn't allow any data logging on the course so i don't have any logs, but it ran smooth. it seemed like the harder i pushed it the smoother she ran.

    Re: REVO'd K04

Ive had APR K04 for about 30k and havent had any problems. Ive gone to vegas, palm springs in summer over 100 and not a hic up. I'm running a test pipe and get a low boost pressure exceeded cel from time to time but it takes me about 5 minutes to clear it.
