I love that color because not too many Audi’s has that color very Nice, the car look clean just need the wing on the back, I would smoke the back lights and get ASA black rims with two inch polish lips. Thanks! I'm running Koni/Vogtland shock combo, it's pretty good. I like it since it's lower than most Sport spring/shock combos, but not as low as Race.

Wheels are 18" Sportec Monos, I love they way they look but they are heeavvvyy and killing my gas mileage. I guess you have to pay to play. =(

I think it looks good. I would love to see a full kit on this color. I never have before. Thank you for not putting black wheels on it. That looks like shit with this color. Some dude did that on the A6 forum and it looks terrible.

gotta love that melange, dont see any nice pics any more of melange, unless its freds car (which is never a bad thing). i love the color with the rims and tint. i was running some 18s and they were soo heavy, so im runnin the stockers until i can get my hands on some w208 clk320 16s and paint them black. im trying to paint my roof black too. looks great with melange imo

Militant-Grunt-- Picked up the Sportecs for about $700 used without tires from off of Audizine last year...they are the original Sportec brand and not the replicas. No idea how much they were when they were new rims.

Thanks for the complements everyone! I've tried to do my best, Melange is def. a unique color. I'm trying to not fall into the "old man tan" category that is sometimes associated with it! =)

Dude honestly, I thought your car was a different color and I kinda forgot about it. Melange looks tits when its done up. The wheel comment was on a stock car. Meaning maybe lowered a little, but with like 18"-19" black ADR wheels. It looks awesome on your car. That being said though, I think the hood, roof, trunk really set off the nice wheels.

Yeah that B5 is surely missed. Unfortunately, back in 2009 my B5 was involved in an accident and got totaled. Basically, I was cut off and forced to run over a concrete median / island thingy....and it jacked up 2 of my Sportecs wheels, side-airbag came out, and possible suspension damage.

Here is a picture of it after I pulled most of the mods off and swapped OEM wheels back on:


So I took the insurance money, and bought a B6 2004 1.8TQ USP:


Current form with new wheels:


It's definitely bittersweet, but the B6 chassis (and 6-speed) have definitely grown on me! =)

Way late here, but may I ask what tint percentage(s) you have on that melange A4 Fred?? The tint looks so sharp and super clean, I want to get that on my melange A4.
