    Murdered A4 project

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Some may have seen my car before and know i am obsessed with black. My car was completely murdered...black car, rims, black trim, dark tint, blacked out headlights and so on.

Next is the body work. Tore everything off the car...more pictures and info on whats happening to it coming soon

This will become a mini truck themed A4. Bags, shaved body...and all black.

In the world of automotive modifications, "shaved" means to remove and fill in the void. So shaving the door handles would be exactly what you said, and exactly what I meant.

    Re: Consider this a teaser?

Well fast or slow car, left lane hogs are ridiculous here in Utah... any car even if its a 80HP one will ride your ass if your doing 50 in the fast lane...thats the message of the sticker for you not to slow down traffic. It works so im content with it.

This will be one of those DIY projects with help of friends, time and patience. No widebody but lots of shaving and molding. I know majority of people here are not a fan of it but im not a fan of being like everybody else. But since being unique is impossible either way now a days cause everything has been done, i rather go with the smaller majority and join the group of people who do what they truly want and not what others like/tell you to do.

So yeah, this will be another shaved/slammed mini truck theme A4 but it will be unique in its own ways. I guess just wait and see

    you guys are funny.
this should be a fun project. I feel you gonna do wide body, and shave the side door moldings since you took them off already.
why not do black interior since you are at it.

My license plate reads EVOM and yet people don't understand, I can be flashing at them, even honking and I still get get BMW 7 series doing 51 next to a guy doing 50
Anyway, this project will be interesting, are you redoing interior too, or just removed it to work on the exterior metal?
I was hoping for some engine mods :D

    Re: Consider this a teaser?

It amuses me how people like to get off topic all the time :)

    But here is the deal:
100% for sure is that were shaving the side markers and rub strips/moldings. The entire car is obviously getting new paint. These are concrete plans.

75% sure, since i am just a student and were working on a budget here, after the above mentioned has been done to the body were planning on shaving the door handles. So yes the sides of the body will be completely shaved most likely.

40% chance of pulling the fenders. I am iffy about it. I want to do it really really bad while were at it...but it will require wide wheels. If i get wheels i want to go all out and i just dont have the money right now to drop 3 grand on nice shoes...so for now massive spacers are in question just so it wouldnt look too shitty till i come accross some wheels.

After the body work is done ill be starting the same setup capt obvious is running. I know its copying but i cant help but be in love with his bag system and give him credit for it.

Update on the car: I tore off the last body parts. Chrome trim on doors (previously painted black) and i sanded the fenders, rearview mirrors, B-pillar covers (removed as well). As of now my friend will weld up the side markers on thursday then we will move on to the moldings hopefully sat night...while i will sand and fill the welds on the fenders.

Pictures will be up as soon as the fenders are shaved.

Thanks to those who got the point of this thread and are supportive, i appriciate you guys!

Good God, fine to make you all happy the sticker will go. Its a sticker for .. sake. Its not like my car is neon green with a fart can. Its simple vinyl that serves its purpose and as a joke which got me tons of compliments everywhere i went incl wustefest etc people like it they think its funny yet does serve a purpose.

And who said the interior is staying tan? all just takes time

Yes there are lots of plans for the engine bay to make it flow with the theme and also increase performance a tiny bit but nothing major since it just the V6. But thats all after i am done with this cause i started it and need to finish it before i talk about anything else.

    Re: Murdered A4 project

Well here it is, or here more or less is nothing of an update.
So i went to the paint shop, got all the fiberglass bondo and other stuff i needed. Welded in the little rubstrip holes where they attach to, then filled them with fiberglass. Easy thing.

I got my Wisdom teeth pulled cause they randomly decided they needed some attention...so that put me down for a few days.

My friend who actually knows how to weld opposed to me was supposed to weld up my markers, still hasnt done so cause he is currently way too busy so i just went and got them back today, picked up some metal pieces from my other friend's fender...and Im about to head out to my fathers company where the "head engineer" will weld up the fenders for me...so at least that too is getting done today.

Besides that, i just have been sanding my life away. Another good thing is that the paint and primer i orderd came within like 3 days of my order i was very pleasantly surprised. It was free shipping too and took 3 days INCLUDING the day i ordered.

So now im trying to find a good deal on door poppers to weld up my handles...
