I actually have it and found out the hard way that it really wont replace the airbag button. The funk button has the shape of the last button to the right (rounded top right hand corner) whereas the airbag button goes on the left (rounded top left hand corner). The buttons actually have an alpha sequence on the back (The funk is "D" if im not mistaken vs. airbag is "A") And the plug for the actual airbag button wont fit the back of the funk button.

Funk is german for radio and like previously said it is simply a momentary switch mostly used to add a mute for a radar detector. I got the blank faced momentary switch from vag parts for my v1 mute switch.

I have not done mine yet, I just need to get it done. I ran the phone cord from the hardwire box to the area where the switch is when I hooded up my DICE. So all I have to do is remove blank, and attach switch to phone cord. I have been debating whether or not to tap into the light power for the light on the switch, but from what I have been told it just stays on all the time which I am not a fan of.

You can actually just unplug the airbag light. I dont really notice it at all, funny thing is I notice the funk button not being on and it really pisses me off. I dont have anything to wire it to or for so it's kinda just chillin there..
