THinking bout picking up another b6 s4. Whatcha think is a fair deal?

2005 b6 s4 with only 10,300 miles! Asking $35k but we all know that's not gonna happen. Red with black interior wood trim. Power rear shades, Side shades, Tint, Sebring exhaust, GIAC software with chip switcher, Possibly springs or coil overs as it looks a little lower. Clean as can be outside and inside! Clear bra on front bumper and hood helped with that. Looks like no one has even sat in passenger or rear seat. Warranty expires around March 2009. 1 "mature" owner. Traded in for an 07 turbo porsche 911. Not crazy about the chromed out wheels but that's an easy fix. Looking to make an offer over the next few days. Help me out yall! Wanna get back to the b6 s4 world!

Scrap the wheels, wood trim, and steering wheel and it'd be perfect! haha. 35k is ridiculous. You'll need to save some of that money for gas =]. it kbb.com and find a general price range.

I just got my red 05 w/ 35k last month, paid about 25 at wholesale auction, 35k is way to much. I also have the 4 spoke steering wheel and im not happy but spending $1500 on a new stock one doesn't have priority right now.

All the "I paid 25K for my car which had 35K miles on it" isn't really relevant. This isn't at a wholesale auction, it's at a dealer. Secondly 10k miles is a completely different story than 35k miles..

$650 a month for 72 months @ 6.49% no money down.

Vehicle @ $32,891 + CPO @ $2495 + $1890 to pay off lease early as I have 3 months of payments @ $630.00 left on my 07 a4 Avant. + other fees totaling $1402.00 for a total of $38,678... Out the door haha... ugh...

Almost feel I should just look for an 06 s4 still under warranty and the price would be about the same with tacking on that CPO.

Only good thing is no out of pocket and my payment only goes up 20 bucks a month on a car I will own. I miss my "old" b6 and the a4 just doesn't excite me as the s4. Great car but it just doesn't do it for me... Not a big tuner so the s4 is great out of the box for me. Plus the b6 body style is by far my fave...

I think you can look at it one of two ways. CPO included in the price or have it itemized as the OP has done. Either way, you pay for it.

I don't know if I buy that 100% of the time. I personally know several people that own low mileage cars because the car is not their DD and because of this the car sits (heck I have one friend that rides the light rail here in Denver and hardly EVER takes out his S - it kills me!). They sit until they decide to take them out for a drive, or commute for a week or two with them.

In either case, having the car checked out on a couple levels (carfax and indie shop/respected mechanic) will help in making the decision. Maintenance records from the original owner don't hurt either.

most of the time its included in the price... but expect to pay 1200-1500 addl for CPO car over non CPO vehicle.

I think $30K is a fair deal on this car. It's a B6 no matter how many miles it has. B8 is coming out so the B6 has to bite the dust somewhat.

I brought that to their attention and they're swapping them out for the correct AVUS wheels with one of the other b6 s4's on the lot. I'm sure they'll slide that by someone... Very happy with the deal. Saving a significant amount over what I'm paying now and an even larger amount over what my local dealership offered me on the red one. Saving more than $5k over the red one! Now only dilemma I have is doing 60 or 72 months on the financing. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Guess it just depends on what you can afford each month. In the end, you would save money with the 60 month deal.

The Avus wheels on the b5 s4 were 17" and on the b6 18". If you glanced at em you'd think they were the same. The dealer I've been talking to swore they were the same till he really looked at em. Compare the ones from my future car to the ones on the white b6 s4 they have listed. Thanks! can't wait to get into her.

I didn't notice any covers missing from those pics. I owned a B6 and my engine compartment looked exactly like your future car.

Car looks awesome man. Love the S4 sound. I though about one, but the gas it would take, would make it more than the Evo was. Maybe next year when I start my real job hopefully.

All is great man, just working alot, and school's in session too, but Ive only got about 1.5 years left. Got my suspension and Rs4 Reps mounted this weekend, and they look great man. So nice, yet looks stockish.
