    Dent repair kit

A few days ago, I found a tiny ding on my door. It seems like a stupid white SUV hit my door. It is not too bad, since is is smaller than 1 in. It is like 0.5 in diameter i think.

I did a few search and found a dent repair kit. Some people were saying it works great, and some say it is not worth it.

    Any experiences with them?

For $20 I don't think it'd hurt to try it out yourself.

What dent masters do is they have a very solid piece of metal "wire". Its bent at a 45 or so degree angle on both ends. They then slide it in through holes, gaps or drill little holes into your cars body and "pry" the dent out from underneath carefully with a few movements. Idk if thats easy to visualize if you have never seen it but it works much better than those sucking kits.

Try it yourself? I did it and besides scratching a part of the inside of my door a little cause i didnt pay attention i got the dent out perfectly!

I tried that and it didn't work. It will work and large dents that would just "pop out" if you pushed on them form the other side. As for dings just get a Dentwizard or other comapny to do it. Dings usually come out 95% and will charge about $50-75 a door.

    Re: Dent repair kit

Maybe not in NY, but here in Mich it costs 50 bucks for first one, 25 additional...

Check out some PDR (paintless dent repair) shops in your area... rather get it done right for a little more than the cost of the kit.
