US to Euro center console swap

Hello, I was wondering if any one has changed their US center console to the european one? If so, what is the install like and the price of all the parts needed? And do you keep the armrest? Post your pics!

As you can see, the cup holders are eliminated, the center console has a better shape and the e-brake doesn't look like it came out of a VW (Not a bad thing, but I want it to be more hidden) I know that the first 3 pics has a start button, but if I do end up doing this, either I'll get the start button but not hook it up or I won't get the start button....

for the seats, they are over $5k per seat and they are manually adjusted...

I looked into buying A3 seats for me car...they're about $1100 per. Would they fit??? I don't know.

It looks like the RS4 still has a cup holder, they removed the card holder and one of the buttons and moved the cup holder to sit just above the RNS-E. it's on the far right of that row of buttons.

I haven't seen any pics of someone in the states doing this conversion. Have you researched what the pricing is for just the parts yet?

the 'euro' rs4 console is the same as the B6 A4/S4 console. no cupholders on the console, just a flimsy one above the stereo. american model B7s all have the 'new' console with cupholders.

you can just swap in a black B6 console. they cost around $200 from any oem parts supplier.

that's what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure there weren't any hidden issues with this!
