V10 R8..errr. R10?.

Audi rep just returned from an Audi A4 training event in California, and he had a few details fon the V10 R8..errr. R10?.

1. The V10 will be in the next car.
2. They will name it R10, like the race car.
3. Very limited production, due to release Q2 of 09'

i read it would produce 525hp but more torque than the lambo, like around 430ish

It will still be called the R8. The V10 R8s I saw at the factory had R8 badges on them. These were non-disguised cars ready for the showroom/press/etc. I also confirmed with people at quattro GmbH that the name will remain R8.

BTW, the V10 sounds mean as hell...
