What should i do? (Debadge Pics)

Alright so i want to debage part of my car. I really like the 1.8t beucase it has the red sport flag, so i dont want to loose that beucase i find it ver attractive. Here are some quick photoshops i did, what option should i go with?

I really like option 1 and want to go with it, but do you guys think it look odd or off balace?

option 2 looks the best. But if your deadset on keeping the 1.8t on, I'd suggest just leaving them all on.

I never understood "debadging" IMHO I think the car looks best with them all on there, especially the rings.

I bought an Audi and I am proud of showing the rings. Debadging to me seems like your ashamed to let everyone know you drive an Audi, but that's just me, and I guess to each their own.

With that said I leave mine all on because I what the person I just past to know they just got passed by a 1.8T!

two sided 3M tape with foam. Any autobody shop should carry it.


What I don't like about de-badging is that it looks like the car doesn't have original paint or was in an accident and was re-painted. Good condition original paint is a buying/selling feature in my books.

got a friend who once got a parking ticket. His car was debadged except for the rings. On the ticket where it shows the car brand, the officer wrote OOOO. He obviously doesn't know Audis.

I'm not a fan of debadging, but if you are going to de-badge... then it's all or nothing (the rings are sacred, so even suggesting them off is sacrilege).

Who cares if you have a red T... I agree it looks cooler than the normal silver one, but I think debadged looks better, period. It's just so clean... and we're not hiding anything by debadging. Leaving the rings still represents Audi... but it's a much cleaner look.
I even convinced my dad to debadge his B6 a couple years ago... and when he just bought an Avant last week, he had it debadged within days. I remember the first time I debadged... such a big decision. It's a look that you appreciate more and more over time... and even more when you're waxing the trunk. :)

Reminds me in my Mustang days.... guys with 2.3L engines would slap on the 5.0 badges to the sides of their fenders. Without even hearing the engine, the skinny tires, single exhaust and lack of aggressive "stance" of the car was a dead giveaway.

You know what you're driving and ANY enthusiast will know also, no need to advertise it, it's JUST a logo. It doesn't make the car, it doesn't affect how the car runs, it doesn't change what car it is... it's just a logo. I said it before, Audi peeps are the most insane about this fact (ring sacrilege), it's bizarre. Some people say it's about pride, I just don't know.

You can always do removals in stages.. take off only the 'A4' or '1.8T' and drive around for a week or two to see what you think.. it will look unbalanced, imho. You can always drop the other side once you see it. Or, you may love it.

The OOOO parking ticket story is awesome, haha.

so true, fake-badging is baaad. now, if you have a v8 in your car you are entitled to a v8 badge, but not if you only have an I4 in there.

In answer to the original question, I would leave the rings of course, maybe move the T next to the A4, might look good
