Pairing phone (Samsung i760) with Car

SO i have the bluetooth and have been trying to pair my phone with the car. I have a samsung i760 smartphone, when i turn on the bluetooth i make sure it is fully visible to be searched. I tap to add a new device and it searches but does not find any devices to be paired with.

try flashing your phone with a newer firmware

ha good luck, I had just got the new samsung T819 from T-mobile and it would pair but when it connected it restarted itself! over and over again, went through 3 of the stupid phones before giving up and went with a blackberry! I tried contacting sumsung and they did nothing for me and audi has only so many phones that will "work" with the car. if you just got it and you use bluetooth i would return it and get one that works with the car!!

try pulling the battery back out of the phone and reconnecting it. See if that will work

Did you have an older BT phone? If so, you might want to reset the BT settings (it shouldnt make a difference but its worth a try).

ya i still cant get it to work. No it is the newer phone it just came out last december its the samsung i760 smartphone with windows mobile 6

remember the car has to be in parking
