I dont want this thread to turn into an opinion thread about whether you like it or not but I do want your insight on how it can be done.
I am really fascinated by the new MBC that has the extension cable to turn the boost up in the car. I thought about where it could mount and be badass. So the only spot I thought it would be cool is where the cig lighter pops out. I wanna make a custom bracket and mount it through that and somehow wire it through the console. So whenever I wanna adjust the boost, I can just pop that thing open.
Ideas?

You basically are going to delete the cigarette lighter and replace it with a cusom mount for the mbc. What you may be able to do is take out the cigarette lighter assembly and get a custom plastic mold. Then maybe dremel it to fit perfectly OEM with the mbc. But say bye bye to cigarette lighter as that would more than likely get destroyed in molding process. Just a thought. Anyways, if you plan on it please update. That would be cool.

yea my friends say if I really need a plug I can buy some adapter that just hooks right up to a 12v connection.

2nd if you want small and clean, with only boost control do a Profec-B or you can do gear and rpm dependent boost with say the AVC-r.

I know I should be going with the EBC, but this seems like it will work for now and I think it is a pretty cool idea.

I have been wanting to put an engine start button in that same spot but i'm not sure how to go about doing it.
