windshield wipers bouncing on the glass making noise?

I just upgraded to the OEM aero blades with arms from the dealer and they tend to bump on the glass when there is a little bit of water on the windshield. The bumping goes away when I use the washer fluid but then comes back when the washer fluid goes away. They are great wipers but this bumping has to stop. I DO NOT mean they bump when there is NO water on the windshield but when it is drizzling.

I use rainX and I was thinking that may affect the wipers causing them to stick a little bit?

Anybody else have this problem? How did you fix it?

i had a similar problem but i think it was because my blades were old. I replaced the blades with Bosch Aero Twins and havent had a problem since. I also stopped using rainX after i got the new blades.

If you're using RainX, it's causing the liquid to run down & bead faster than the blades so you're just rubbing on "dry" glass.

Mind you, I like RainX; I don't need to use my wipers nearly as much when it's applied.

This is the answer I was looking for.... but how could I remove the rainX From my windshield or should I just clean it with something acid based windshield cleaner?

I definitely could see the water beading and the wipers are cleaning off SO much water that there is no more water to clean off once it has already made its first pass....

I've read that lighter fluid or windshield/glass cleaner would work.

I am having the EXACT same problem. I am starting to be convinced that these Aero blades from ECS are just bad quality.
