will the Monobloc6 - 355mm (14") Big Brake System fit the stock wheel?
will it also fit the the 9 spoke RS4 wheel?
i want to add a BBK before i add wheels.
Is the S8 brake systems worth anything to put on my 2001.5?
will that fit with the stock wheels and the 9 spoke RS4 wheels?

thanks again for all of your help

    Re: BBK questions

No, the 355 kit will not fit under stock wheels. I don't know if it will fit behind the 9 spokes, but I'd veture to say no. I've had to look pretty hard to find much that will fit over my 355s, and I don't think the spokes of the RS4s will bow enough.

    Re: BBK questions

With a 355 kit, you need to start looking at wheels in 18" diameter and up. I don't know about the Rs4 wheels (assuming they are not 17s), but I know some people run DTM's with a 355 kit.

As for the S8 brakes, many members have upgraded the rear rotors to the S8 ones to complement a BBK. Other options to consider are the Stasis rear BBK, ECS kit, and B7 S4 rotors. However, if you're going with Alcon, why not stick with Alcon in the back? The kit is very comprehensive and is near the same price (or even cheaper) than alternatives once all the other pieces are obtained. FWIW, I run the Stasis kit with my Brembo BBK.

    Re: BBK questions

my car is low and i dont think 18s will fit on it anymore. i want to do the bbk for front and rear and keep the 17s IF POSSIBLE. if i cant i will have to figure something out. The RS4 replica has a 17" wheel that i like.

thanks again for all of the information

    Re: BBK questions

You can go with a 332 kit if you want to keep 17s. I actually think my 335 kit is way overkill to be completely candid. Are you planning on doing heavy tracking?

Well, ultimate fitment will depend on the spoke design and offset of the wheels vis a vis the brake calipers, but at least diameter wise, a 17" wheel will fit over the 332 rotor. If I'm not mistaken, the Alcon 332 kit fits behind stock Avus, and I know the ST kit does for sure.

Since you're going with the Alcons, shoot Jared at Stasis or Jeremy at Matrix an email as both are very knowledgeable guys and I'm pretty sure will be able to answer the question about exact fitment with the wheel you want.
