    Clutch Petal Adjustment?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the clutch petal on these cars? I have owned several hydrolic clutch cars and it was very simple to adjust where the clutch engaged by adjusting the piston on the petal itself. I looked at the audi and there was nothing that looked like it could be adjusted. Anyone ever do this? I can't stand it engaging high up! The clutch has less then 7k on it so I know its not worn out yet.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

yeah...I was wondering the same thing...I have to put my seat further back so I can engage the clutch easier. Mine engages at the very top as well with a brand new rs4 clutch. I'm coming from a bmw m roadster which the clutch engaged right off the floor so I'm hating this.

Subscribed... I was actually going to get under the car and take a look at doing this in the next couple days, I installed a brand new clutch in my car and it still releases way up top.

oem b5s4 clutch is SAC. means Self Adjusting Clutch. there is no adjustment you can make far as I know. and being SAC, the clutch adjust pedal height as it gets worn too. so, again no way to tell how much clutch wear you have by pedal height.

It is the way it is. I also drive a TTQC: same motor, few shared mechanicals. The difference in clutch release point is NOTICEABLE, with the TT clutch being classically low, and the B5 way up near the roof.

SHift well, and it won'nt be an issue. Ride your pedal, and you'll have a problem.
