Thumbs up New wheels on, coils lowered a tad more, rear wheel bearing replaced - Thanks 034!

Spent a good part of the day with the guys at 034 today. Once again I was more than impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, and all their cool ass toys!

The car had some noise in the right rear when turning. Ended up being a very shot rear wheel bearing. While I was there we put on the new wheels and brought the coilovers down some more. Ended up going as low in the front as we could go. Looks like I'm going to need shorter springs if I want to go any lower.

Anyway, thanks again to Javad and Dan, and all of the techs at 034.

Some teaser pics until I take some more full body shots this weekend.

Yes, they are RHs. Just got them from the good boys at GMP. They're RH ZW4s to be exact, size 18"x8.5" ET59.

Hey Anthony, how easy or hard is it to find what's needed to restore one of these? I don't want to get off topic here so feel free to send a PM with resources where I could get parts if you have them.

Back to your Baby, we want pics including the engine bay. I've never seen a 2.2 inline Turbo in good shape. I've seen a few for sale on craigslist but usually they have been out of the engine bay.

I'm a fool for vintage stuff so your S6 really makes me want to have one for weekend drives.

    Thanks for sharing man...!

Sorry, I get so excited snapping pics of the outside I forget to get some of the engine. I'll try to remember on the next shoot.

Parts aren't hard to come by at all. Between shops like 034 and 2Bennett, sites like AudiFans.com, and European experts like OEMPl.us it's been a lot of fun! It can get expensive though, of course.

I thought they were RH's... was gonna ask if you got them from GMP.
I am there all the time and saw those wheels on the rack in their shop I think. They do all the work on my car, both mods and service.
    can't wait to see pics
