    ^^if matched with a TP and a full echause yes it does the ridges in the stock one do effect flow!

    I don't think it would be any louder with the stock cat and stock remainder of exhuast... flow may improve slightly, the stock cat is still there restricting flow then the drop back to stock pipes restricts it agian...

    I got 2.5" to the y pipe and then 2.25" to the mufflers exhaust.

    Well that wouldn't be a stock exhaust then.. so you may pick up some gains and sound.. and to the OP you have the AWE exhaust, unless you have a Tip it came with the 2.5" down pipe??
