a little help please...

Im active duty air force stationed up in anchorage Alaska. anyway... finding a nice car up here for anything close to what a normal human being would consider a reasonable price is just out of the question (02 s4 with 130xxx miles bone stock selling for close to $20k).. so im considering one of the USPs on the for sale forum located in fresno

i know of the problems this particular vehicle is showing, ive spoken with the owner several times now. if someone local to fresno would be willing to go check it out and make sure it is what its advertised to be and nothing else is wrong it would be a great help. i just dont have the leave to take to fly to california to just see if a car is worth buying (much less the $1000 plane ticket) ide be willing to compensate if need be..gas money, whatever. or if someone can suggest a shop that knows audis well and can go through the car thoroughly at my expense if the owners willing to take it there.
