i have a b6 s4 with the standard 18 inch wheels with the tire sizes 235/40/18. ok I bought 19 inch rs4 replica and i put 245/35/19 on there but the problem is they do not fit. they rub inside and on top. I really do not want to have to send these rims back so can anyone help me and let me no if 235/40/19 would work on my wheels and help the problem or will those still rub. If they rub will any tire help?

To begin with...you want a 235/35-19 tire for that size wheel. Also, we need the offset, not size, to tell you if it will work.

Yep, you want 235/35/19 tire size, that is what I run without any rubbing. Are these VMR 19" RS4 reps? If so you will be fine with the tire size Hacker and I mentioned.

i had 19x8.5 on 245s on my B6 A4 USP, and had no rubbing issues... given that was on stock suspension.

235s should clear it either way unless you have a ridiculously aggressive offset

You already told us your size was 19x8.5. We need to know what the offset of the wheels are? Find out from whoever you bought them from.

Were the VMR purchased new for your car or used from another car? Reason being, if from another car, it may have a different offset which is causing you problems. If purchased new for your car, all you should need is the 235/35-19 tires. Is the car lowered or on stock suspension?

If you have the VMRs w/et38 rapped in 245/35/19, you should have no problem...
Offset of 38 is standard if spec'd for a 4 Series Audi.

Dude, you're looking like a total idiot right about this time. Get your knowledge straight before you come on here asking for help. If you don't know offset, don't pretend like you do. Just say, "What is offset". Better yet, go to tire rack's site and do some studying.

What year is your car? 245's may be slightly too wide for your particular year.
