What t3 exhaust manifold for A4

Hey just picked up an A4 with the intentions of puting on a biger turbo. only thing I am not sure of what exhaust manifold to go with. what manifold plaes the turbo in the best location for clearance, pipeing, ect. Any help would be appreciated

whats wrong with the atp one, is it just the position that it puts the turbo in?

My ebay t3 manifold worked great. Needs a little port matching to the aeb head but otherwise the fitment is great. No cracks or anything that I can see. The t3 housings make getting to the mounting bolts very easy.

hope you have intentions of building the engine too SPA mani from 034, they are making a downpipe for it now too. I am about to order one actually. Or full-race if you wanna be baller.

I want to run a gt3071R, yes on doing pistons and rods. located in Northern NJ. I dont think for what i want to make in power warrents a Full-Race manifold. knew about 034, but was just wondering what else was out there. I had some friends with the ATP manifold and they hated it, so I was not planing on geting that one.

good to know - i'm assuming they will bolt up (or should I say v-band up) with the 034 3" exhaust? will recirculating a tial 38mm wg be an option?

need to get rid of this atp crap...

38mm wastegate will be standard and 44 will be optional upgrade.You will need to go to a muffler shop to hook up the downpipe to the 034 exhaust.

I was thinking of getting an ATP, as I've read that spool is quicker with a log-type manifold. As my car is beeing built for track, and not drag, I don't need the extra top-end power headers would give. Would this one be more of at intermediate between the two?

picked up the spa mani at waterfest this weekend, then spent the rest of the day under are tent in the pit cause it was so dam hot. the only thing im worry about is this thing cracking. anyone whos runing the spa mani and have a good amount of miles on it have any feedback for me?

i have a knock off atp one from ebay knickey is the seller...with only 26 lbs and a hot as balls day i put down 377.1 the manifold onloy cost me 185

the only thing im worry about is this thing cracking.

Cast manifolds like this are generally less likely to crack than welded tubular manifolds.

If the component breaks, cracks or otherwise does not function according to its advertised use, SPA Turbo USA will replace the manifold free of charge.


This warranty is effective so long as the manifolds are professionally installed and have not been subjected to faulty installation, wrongful application, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance and/or tempered with beyond their intended use. so, i need to pay someone to install the thing for the warranty? I'm guessing you probably don't have to worry too much about the SPA, but it would suck if you installed it yourself and it cracked.
