Man, where were you last week? I just recieved the same rotors from Adam on thurs. Haven't put them on yet, but what do you mean they were too loud???

No.. I think it's the slots... When i was beside the wall on the interstate and hit the brakes it would make the sound.. I had cross drilled rotor b4 and they never did it. This was my first pair of slotted/dippled.. I guess it's the way they're suppose to sound.. I got blanks on there now and it's better... I just couldn't deal w/ it... And the sound is very hard to explain... I guess it would be just like having performance pads.. Some pads get more brake dust and are louder compared to other brands...

hahahahaha.. Yes.. That would be it... You hear it more when you apply the brakes then when your just driving... Do you have a set???

For those of you with these rotors, is this a constant sound, or only when the brakes are applied? How audible is it? Like, do you hear it all the time, or only if the windows are down. Thanks for the added info.

It's not loud, you definitely can't hear it over music, mainly with the windows down and no outside noise and I think burnishing the lead edge of the pad may do the trick. I didn't bed my brakes like I was supposed to which could be another reason

Can't hear it in my car w/ the windows up.. Speed has a lot to do w/ the loudness of it... Cruising in town you won't notice it that much if at all... I drive a parkway everyday w/ concrete barrier walls so the sound reflects off of them making it really audible..

I guess i'm really shooting myself in the foot complaining about the rotors as I try to sell them.... =)

I would rather let ppl know b4 they buy them..
