Having a problem. I have 550cc's im trying to install in my AWM engine, and the injector wont go all the way in to allow the injector clip to hold on. Is this typical on these?

You really dont need to use the clips to hold the injector to the fuel rail. Those clips are just there so that when you pull the rail off the injectors come with it. I haven't been using those clips since the first time I changed out my injectors back in 2001.

yeah I don't use the clips either, they don't fit right with most aftermarket injectors

    Re: genesis injectors

Ended up finishing it in the morning. Turns out there was an O-ring off an injector stuck in the fuel rail.

Started my car up and hooked up vagcom. Thought it would adjust itself under non load to be 14.7:1. Guess not.

Leaning out my idle with lemmiwinks, and will have to make some runs to see how it's doing through out the band.

    Re: genesis injectors

Well it will adjust but it is very limited to how much, plus you are going from stock to 550cc injectors which is a huge jump.

    Re: genesis injectors

if you're running those on a stock tune take them out ASAP, you're going to run crazy rich and wash down the rings (BTDT, bad news!)

Nope. Running a custom tune which flowed at 380cc's. Trying to lean out my idle mixture.
