Retrofit Complete: 2008 LED Tails

Hi All,

Just a note for those out there that like the look of the new LED tails for their earlier D3 chassis A8 and S8 cars.

We have completed the retrofit of these lights and they look great! One minor wiring change is required during installation and you'll have the updated look of the 2008 tails!



Please post comments and questions! We have stock on these and can ship within a day or so of order.

It lives with us right now, but actually belongs to one of our good customers. He's an AZ member, so I'll let him speak up if he wants to.

We've done the MTM wheels, EU bumper inserts, lowering, some interior mods and (obviously) the rear lights. We are researching two other significant upgrades, which will happen later in the summer.

Stainless MTM exhaust is a possibility as well, but we're waiting for a go/no-go on that one. Will be looking forward to getting it on the dyno for some before & after runs if that gets the green light...

Ooohhhh...interesting! And what are the "Euro bumper inserts"? Did I miss that post/thread?

No, I don't think we posted specifically about that.

We replaced the front bumper inserts with European versions to get rid of the amber running light... we're playing with the coding now to see if it's possible to activate the turn signals for running lights, like the A3...
