Losing oil and coolant, but dont seem like its burning

So I had this 2004 A4 2.0T FWD CVT for a year, and a few months ago decided to give it to my brother as a gift (since I bought the A6).

He has been telling me that the coolant has been low often, he would fill it up to the max line, and say about 2-3weeks later, its so low that its almost nothing in the tank and the warning goes off. We dont see any signs of coolant burning out of the exhaust. I searched on this issue for weeks and seems like everyone mentions that it could be the coolant flange near the firewall, I asked him to check out that area and see if he seeing any pink residue, he said nothing, looks clean there. So not sure where the hell the coolant is going, cause its not leaving puddles either on the floor, just losing it about 2-3weeks.

Then another problem also seems to be that he losing about 1qt of oil almost every 1-2months as well. The car only has about 45k miles on it. Again no signs of blue smoke or anything coming out the exhaust. I thought maybe the turbo seals might be gone, but then normally when that happens it burns into the exhaust side and then you have bluish smoke, so not sure whats going on there.

Any insights on this? Im going to try to do a compression test and possibly a leakdown to see if the rings are screwed and leaking the oil (but again this is skeptical for me since again nothing burning from the exhaust).

turbo seals or head gasket...last time I made this guess, it turned out to be the oil cooler, so check that as well... if the turbo seals are shot, you won't see blue and/or white smoke out the exhaust unless you're under boost... as a gut check, drive behind him and tell him to floor it...

Im fairly positive its not the headgasket, but again Im going to do a compression and leakdown to make sure on that. Ive had a few turbo cars that I built myself and familiar with the seals blowing on them, and this doesnt seem to fit the bill yet cause definetely no spoke when Im behind him. Im going to have to check out the oil cooler, but even if that broke and its mixing, youd think the coolant and oil would still burn in some fashion and therefore some type of evidence would be present of that.

I assume its 1.8T, coolant flange is located on the back of the head (closer to cabin). Check behind the head for pink residue. Is valve cover gasket/cam adjuster gasket leaking? (it shouldn't loose that much oil though) Check your spark plugs, see if there is any oil there ---> O rings a bad. Good luck

Yes sorry it a 1.8T, confused it with my 08 2.0T. Im going to do a full lookover on this bastard again. If its headgasket, Im not too concerned since Im cool with doing that work, been working on cars since I was 12 and rebuilt engines, transmissions, tranplanted engines trannys, you name it so not too concerned with that.
