    Question Engine cover...

So I feel like a complete dumbass, but I gotta double check something.

I picked up my car this morning after getting the clearbra done. Later in the day I went down to VMR and got my boost gauge installed. Upon popping the hood, Don at VMR asked why the one side of the motor didn't have a cover and then I was

I always thought both sides had a cover, but I didn't see anywhere for a cover to latch on to.

So being the Audi newb I gotta ask, am I missing half the engine cover or should it really only have one side covered and the other side where the spark plugs are located exposed? Both Don and I thought it looked kinda cheap having the cover on only one side with the other exposed, hence why I though there was a cover on the other side.

Here is a pic I found off the net, this isn't a picture of my car, but the engine bay looks like this....

Am I retard? errr wait, don't answer that.

The pic isn't a pic of my car, just of another car with a 2.0T motor.

And what were you referring to that it "should?"

he thought the picture above was your car and if you car looks like that, it looks how it should look... lol if that doesn't make sense then I might have to answer your last question in your original post.

    Re: Engine cover...

Theres a cover that goes over the top of your engine bay where the battery is. And another on the right side. They're for the RS4 but fit's our cars as those areas are the same. I don't think they're too expensive so you can try your local dealer. Or maybe ECS tuning?
