Me. Stage 2 with my lightweight stuff pulled 2-3 cars from 2nd to a tad into 3rd. He said he was bone stock and was waiting for a new Vishnu flash to come out before chipping it (this was over a year ago). We ran again and the same results. I think most stage 2 cars would have a lot of trouble if you're not running in tip top shape and in full weight.

^^ what he said. the 135 with a solid driver will trap anywhere between 104-106 mph and the 335 is roughly 2mph lower due to weight. thats stage 2 territoryish.

I kept up with one from 60-95ish before i had to let off due to traffic... he couldnt pull away from me and it was a 6spd.... 335i was stock, i was completely stock with a giac reflash.... now that im stage 2++ (piggies andf intercoolers)... i dont see how i cant pull on another stock 335i... i would get chewed by a 335i chipped though..lol

Stage 2 or Stage 2+ s4 will beat a stock 335i if its a good driver vs good driver, but once the 335i is chipped i doubt a stage 2+ can even keep up.

Im Stage 2 and when I raced him stock i pulled about 3-4 lengths to about 110, now he has the vishnu procede chip in it and from a 3rd gear 55mph roll I had him by like a 1/4 car length. I also had the chance to race a friends new m3 we went 3 times and i took him a 3 times but he isn't the best driver so it gave me the edge off the line.

THANK YOU!!! This is the account I was looking for!!!! I had a few incidents but it is not fair as my car is heavily modified. I wanted to confirm that I was not on crack. They are not as fast as some would have me believe...no yet anyway... ;-)

my buddy also has a 6spd 335(stock) and we raced 3 times from a 2nd gear roll I pulled about a car on him to 110. I'm running giac93 rest of the car is bone stock besides for drop in k&n.

i have im stage 3 minus and ran a 335i auto from 20-40 rolls .... he had chip exhaust dp's intake and it seemed that whoever would get the jump would stay ahead for awhile but after 100 id pull on him ..... odd but its what hapened :)

Not a noticeable difference. The OEM filter is good and probably alot cheaper.

On a 2+ car this is true, but AMD has measured the pressure drop on a GT turbo car to be almost 2 times as high for the K&N dropin versus the oem paper. Complete skip on the k&n panel setup imo.

i used to have a TIP s4 and the engine tossed a mega salad and the cost of trying to rebuild it wasnt worth keeping a 100 year old car running. so it was parted and the money i made from that was used to buy a 135.

I raced a chipped 335 convertible. Middle aged man, 20YO Woman with bleached hair and fake boobs... Even had 30 day tags on it.

He kept trying, we raced 4 times on the same road (55MPH Speed limit with lots of lights). 0 to 60 it was not even close, from 40 to 65 I walked him easy..
