All my bags are packed and ready to go... and so is my B7

For my road trip because of a work transfer to Mississippi for 9 months, I installed back my stock 17's with H&R spacers, 8mm on the front and 12mm in the rear.

Also blacked out and installed my ECS front plate filler.

I asked so many people if I can exchange my 17's with any of their 18's, stock or whatever, because I remember not liking how the 17's looked when I bought the car. But after the install of my 17's and the spacers, the setup actually looks awesome!

I almost forgot the elegant look and the very comfortable ride of the stock 17's. And with my car being lowered 25" to the ground, the setup looks perfect!!

Now all I got to deal with is this stupid, 2000-mile drive to MS.

You're right, the 17"s don't look half bad with the spacers/drop. Looks clean and classy.

Some folks on here have bigger spacers. I'd go for 8mm/12mm on these 17's though just to be absolutely rub-free

It's cool . I thought the 17's won't look good. It turned out to be a nice-looking setup.

I had to sell my stock 17's (like yours) when I bought my 18's. Now I kinda wished I didn't. That looks really good with spacers. I only had mine lowered for 1 day with the stock rims on. Looks good and clean.

My B7 will be packed for a little road trip (5 hrs. ea. way) for the 4th of July holiday tonight. Taking off tomorrow around noon.

That's why I am in no rush to upgrade my wheels. A drop and spacers make a world of difference. Plus I really don't have the cash to drop on new rims anyway. For those on a budget, spacers FTW.

No. Got pulled over for doing 95mph on the I-10. I showed him what's up and he let me go. The guy's prior military . I was driving anywhere between 100 - 110 mph in Arizone, Louisiana, and MS though. God bless Arizona for some very attractive white chicks who work at all the Starbucks that I stopped at. You rarely see them working at Starbucks in Los Angeles / San Diego.

But I made it *whew*. For those of you who care, the I-10 in Louisiana is a very long bridge of about 30-40 miles (maybe longer), over a very very huge swamp area that is as far as your eyes can see all the way over the horizon. It's really amazing. Never seen anything like that before. And being a true Californian, a sight like what I just saw makes me constantly go WTF the whole time.

Anyway, I made it here safe. I'ma do a lot of touching up from rock chips and shit on my hood and front bumper. Easy-peasy-Japanesey.

To Jersey Anthony: my LM reps are in my garage. I'm thinking of selling them. I'm thinking of whatever with them. But I won't make a decision on them until I head back to San Diego in about 8-9 months. So stay tuned if you're interested.

Btw, these dumb southern chicks, some of them absolutely hot, dig me because I drive "a car that kinda looks like a BMW..." Jesus H. Christ, you know...
