Moved from a B6 to B5...

Hey guys,

Originally had a B6 S4 avant 6MT and now have a B5 S4 Avant 6MT and love it! Have recently put a few "goodies" on the car and just got the car back from Jason @ JHM - Stasis Streetsports, BBS LM's, GIAC chip, Full turbo back DP/Exh system, TBB, Forged DV's, AWE Boost Gauge, JHM solid shifter and JHM MBC. COming soon - OEM RS4 front bumper.

I have 2 sets of BBS caps - Red/Black... still debating on which one's to use.. thoughts/opinions???

Honestly. Nope. No regrets at all!

I think it was a great move on my part.

1. Cheaper purchase price so saved there.
2. modding the B5 S4's are a lot funner.
3. better on GAS! When your not full boosting that is...

I think you should assuming you can find a 6MT S4 avant! There's a nice Nogaro avant in the For Sale section I think...

Great buy as they are becoming more and more rare and not many were even brought over to the US to begin with.

Depending on mileage, you should probably expect to pay somewhere between 14-17k for one. I was on the lower range as I have 112k miles but it was adult owned with full maintenance done and all highway miles. Car runs great and K03's still holding up strong!

wow the b5 avant is nice! almost makes me want to do the same. But a b5 avant is more rare, in my area anyhow.

I like the red caps. I'm kind of surprised how much I like them. Must be pretty different going from a B6 to a B5? I've like all the B6's and B7's I've driven, just couldn't get used to the extra weight, and I know the B5 Avant is not that light to begin with.

Yea, already changed back to black caps... wheels do seem to look bigger for some reason... dont have a budget for BBK's for some time anyways...

Love the versatility of the avants!

I just sold my Stage 3 B5 S4 Avant 6MT.. Dropped it off at the shippers a few days ago... SAD SAD Day.. I bought an 08 A3. Not the same but I put 30,000 miles on the S4 in 2 years and needed something a little better on gas..
