From a B6 to B5 - Regrets...HELL NO!

Hey guys,

Originally had a B6 S4 avant 6MT and now have a B5 S4 Avant 6MT and love it! Have recently put a few "goodies" on the car and just got the car back from Jason @ JHM - Stasis Streetsports, BBS LM's, GIAC chip, Full turbo back DP/Exh system, TBB, Forged DV's, AWE Boost Gauge, JHM solid shifter and JHM MBC. COming soon - OEM RS4 front bumper.

I have 2 sets of BBS caps - Red/Black... still debating on which one's to use.. thoughts/opinions???

I can't think of any other car to which its so confusing, did you move UP to a B5 or did you downgrade to a previous year? LOL!

If you're open to opinions, I'm not feeling the center caps.

112k miles on the clock. All maintenance up to date as previously owned by an adult owner who commuted via Freeway for a majority of the miles.

Car feels A LOT faster than my previous B6 but then again, that's just from the butt dyno. I think it's just the rush of the turbo's that gets me everytime...

I personally feel liked I've definitely moved UP in terms of the Fun department and it also helps that these cars are so reasonably priced now even though a B5 S4 avant 6MT isn't exactly an easy find.

YES, I too am not "feeling" the RED caps and will change them to black. Thx!

Damn, both were sick. You'll definitely enjoy the B5 better. I work at a VW/Audi dealership and my two bosses both have V8 S4s and get like 16mpg and I get 22-23 and mine is faster haha.

Thanks for all the feedback guys regarding caps. Thought it would be fun to try the Red caps but just doesn't seem to look totally right. I'll swap em' back when I get a chance. PITA as it requires that all the wheels come off just to pop the caps off.

Car is definitely a "bang for the buck" type of car these days. I'm quite happy with my Stage 2(for now!). Hopefully my K03's will hold up for a good amount of time.

My avant did not come w/ the sports package but I did install the chrome mirrors seperately.

I think most people would go from just about anything to a B5 RS4!!! At least here in the states. Great choice!
