Harness replacment

When pulling the wiring harness from the engine bay on a 1.8t, do you need to disconnect anything inside the car, or does the harness connecet to the ecu and then from the ecu it connects only to the little plugs on top of the relay panel?

its just the connections on the ecu and then the connections under the ecu...
