ecu problem need help

6 weeks ago I was racing a clk 430 amg and went from 3-2gear at 80mph, bent all 8 exhaust valves and all 20 lifters, everything is fixed and backtogether now, started the car up for the first time and it ran for 5-6 minutes at idle and then just died, it would not start back up, it really wanted to, my friend had his 97 a4 there too, so we switched ICM's, still wouldent start, cam sensors, still no start,checked the coil packs for sparking and there was no spark so we thought the crank sensor was bad, I bought a new crank sensor and still no start, I unplugged my lightning MAF,he put his stock ecu in my gt3071 630cc injectors tapp tuned car and it STARTED right up, I already sent tapp a email about this and left a message earlier today, can anyone tell me whats up with my ecu, its a 99 aeb a4 1.8t 5 speed 8d0 907 557p ecu with tapp tuning....

i took the ecu cover off and didnt see anything fried, any help is appericated, thanks

Um... Did you get a new timing belt and whatnot? Pull back the timing belt cover and crank the motor to see if the cam sprocket is moving...

the motor starts with a stock ecu in the car and not my tapp tuned ecu, i used the same timing belt over, it only has 10,000 miles on it.

My ecu just died...tapp cant figure out why....i guess it had some bug or something.
