    Re: Wheel Help

First off, the allroad is a heavy beast, so any wheel that is prone to bending will be that much easier given the weight of the car + going with 19's you don't have alot of sidewall. Also, tires for 19's are damn expensive.

Secondly, as a matter of taste, I would say go with a thicker spoked wheel. The thin spokes just look silly on such a beefy car. Here is mine with 18" RS6 reps.

And this one is just badass:

    Re: Wheel Help

The Sportec wheels look good, and gets my vote (I am a bit biased). The OZ Ultras might be a bit on the soft side for a heavy car like your AR. I have them on my GTI, and my right front wheel is already bent. They are pretty light for a cast 19" diameter wheel, but are not pothole-proof. I have Sport Technic wheels on my silver Avant - I can post pics if you want to see what they would look like on a silver wagon.

    Re: Wheel Help

m-avant pics would be much appreciated. i love all these ideas and i agree on the thick spoke idea, but i think im torn between the sportecs, the b7 rs4's, and the neuspeeds which are pretty pricey from what ive seen. also anyone know what kind of black wheels are on the silver allroad in the original post? i really like the lip on those.

Here are some pics of the Sport Technic premium in silver :

The black 5 spoke wheels on the AR you posted look like they have OZ Racing caps on them. The closest wheel to that look would be the Giotto 3 piece or the Canyon (both by OZ).

    Re: Wheel Help

those sportecs look really nice m-avant, youve got a clean car. how much did those run you? i was searching through the "sick avant pics" thread for ideas and im really hooked on rj1031's allroad with the ROTA P45R's

i love the wide look and it really fills up the bumpers. and its +20 offset which is much closer to the allroads weird +25 then most wheels
