Do I need to swap out my K&N with the stock filter for dealer Service. My 06 A4 came with the balance of the service contract. Thought I would make use of it.

no k&n does not void warranty and does not need to be switched out. My dealer actually recommended me getting one on my b6

    Re: Dealer service with K&N

I have brought my car with exhaust, CAI, HF cat, and SS. And its dropped. I set my APR to stock B4, and back after. It really depends on the stealership. Ask around and find a dealer in your area that is cool w/ mods. If you have totally f-ed up your car and bring it in, well, I'll let you do the math on that one, but for service, thats different.

    Re: Dealer service with K&N

Play it safe and put stock back in. Depending on the service interval you might get a new stock air filter and then you can keep it as a spare (or when you clean your K&N and let it dry).

Just tell them you have the K&N Filter, and you don't need a filter change.
