I purchased the laptop back in June of 2006 for Graduate School, I have used it every once in a while for personal use and on business trips. I use my self built desktop way more at home and I have my own laptop for work. The laptop has had its normal wear and tear, I have reformatted a couple times, had the hdd replaced by Dell (if anyone has purchased from Dell in the past they can agree the parts crap out after a certain amount of use). I keep my computers in great shape, virus, malware and spyware free and I am very knowledgeable in the daily gamut of programs and how to handle the operating system. I updated the DVD drive myself from Newegg.com, the current virus/spyware scanner is from AVG (free and personally runs better than Norton), windows defender, threatfire, adobe, firefox, ie7. Also memory card slot on slide. Will include fresh clean of all my current programs and configurations, reset passwords and include start and driver disks. I purchased from Dell for $3k.
