it honestly all depends on what type of sub your putting in the, i could put one 10 W7 that would hit a lot harder than a lot of peoples 2x12 so it's all about the set-up. are you trying to run it off the stock amp? do you have a bose system in your car?

I dont have bose.

My car is 05 so i think its symphony 2.

I wanna put something inside my trunk so that there is still place to put stuff.

I wanna buy an amp and sub.

I got like 300-400 to spend with wires.

Do you think i can install it by myself ? cause i went to audio shop today and they told me 150 to install...
