I would say around 400whp, btw great choice in turbo. Oh and I cant remember but does the 2000 have a MAP sensor like the 2001? You should look into a MAF less setup if CTapp can set that up for you

    Re: Made the decision..

nah, without meth i should reach around 400whp. Thanks, everyone is so worried about the spool, IDC, I WILL get used to it and thats why I am building the head Yeah 2000 does but it lacks the stock wideband.. SO I have to use a MAF, the map doesnt let you go maf-less its the stock wideband that does. believe me, i would love to go maf-less. I contemplated selling this car and buying a 2001 for that reason haha

Awesome, can't wait to see it once its up and running. Who is doing the build for you?

I'm still looking for a car, dying to build a 1.8t, pretty much decided 2.0 and 35r w/ 6speed setup.

    Re: Made the decision..

chris tells me with cams i should be able to hit 400awhp on a build awm with an aeb head. He assures me its not the tune that will hold you back, but getting the system to be efficient and flow sufficiently to reach its true potential.

    Re: Made the decision..

This seems like the right place to ask. Sorry for the thread jack, but why is it people don't run with the GT3082r? I know why people don't run with the GT2876r is because of the spooling, but what about the GT3040r? Just trying to figure things out. Thanks!

    Re: Made the decision..

The GT3082r would take just a little while longer to spool. If you had a 2.0L that would be a pretty good street turbo, but on the stock displacement I wouldn't go far past the GT3076r...

Nice, you still havent found a car? That is really shitty..Once you get your hands on one,m it is gunna be insane. I am doing the build myself, I will send the head out to the shop to get ported/polished and a valve job though.

yeah, that was my next question.. I have not really looked into cams all that much. But lately have been contemplating them. Kinda clueless on this subject, fill me in! Also, I'll be going with 034's upgraded throttle body. Should also have before and after dyno of that to see any real gains, when I finally save up enough money haha.
