I think the asking price is what...18k? Not too shabby considering 95% of the car was replaced.

Too often people look at mileage as the only way to judge a cars condition. When the reality is that the only thing it tells you is how far it was driven, not how much it was driven or how it was driven or how it was maintained. This is an 8 year old car. That is only 18,125 miles per year. My personal commute is ALL highway at 70 miles a day. So that is 16,800 a year of just going to the office and back. No stop and go traffic, not even twisty roads. Compare that to a driver that sits for 2 hours a day in heavy city traffic. Sure the car will have fewer miles, but it would have been on and running in harsher conditions for much longer.

I think a starting bid of $12,000 is more than fair for a Stage 3+ S4 with 90% of the car replaced within the last 40K thousand miles. Most of that within the last 20k. Some big things even in the last 2k.

The parts and labor that produced this photo was an $18,000 job all by itself. (and the car already had K04s on it)




The parts list alone (so no labor) is more than the reserve price on the car.

Cruising through some reciepts here is a partial list.

So right there is $4,650 just sitting under the car not including the tires and wheels.

As long as i'm at it. Show me another s4 where the owner went to such detail as to powdecoat the upper and lower oil pan? Parts that will never be seen in the car.



Every hose, every seal, every little doodad we could get to when the motor was out was replaced. Even some of the plastics on the car were replaced just so they would look better in these pictures.

So this car is more new than it is old.

And you know there are no hidden problems or dirt below the sightline since the motor was taken out and the chassis and motor addressed/detailed seperately.

Sorry to here bout your dad....Same thing happened to someone in my family except she was left without the ability to speak, or write the correct way. It happened while she was in the hospital getting a tumor removed. Then all of a sudden during her recovery from surgery the stroke came. It was difficult to be around someone that brought u up, and then seeing them so low and confined because of the stupid fucking thing like a stroke....Its just heartbreaking. At that moment, I knew I wasn't invincible anymore.....Enough of the sadness......This car's engine is probably top 10 cleanest, and the interior is fenomenal. Someone help the man live his wishes and pick this up for at least 12k.
